Hi, everyone!
I really miss you because I know this is the final blog week.
I want to talk more things with you. However, winter vacation coming soon, so a class will end. Our vacation will start on December 21th. It is short vacation because there are only 3 weeks. Of course I'm very looking forward it!
During my vacation, I'm going to work a lot, and I want to hang out with a lot with my friends.
Do you have any plan for your vacation? :)By the way, my class will held pizza party. I'm looking forward it, too. I will eat the pizza nad watch a movie with my class members.

食べ物！

こんにちは～★
今日は食べ物について書きたいと思います。
私の好きな食べ物は、「わらびもち」という日本の甘い食べ物です。「わらびこ」という粉に水と砂糖を加えて練り、冷やして固めた餅と「きなこ」という大豆から作られた粉をまぶして食べる、すごくおいしいスーツです。あっさりした素朴な甘さと、わらびもちの冷たくてもちもちとした食感がたまりません！
夏になると、お気に入りのわらびもちの店に必ず行って食べてしまうほどです。
また、わらびもちは熱い日本茶とすごくよく合うので、食べる際は一緒に日本茶を飲むことをおすすめします♪今こうして書いていると、おいしい味を思い出してまた食べたくなってきます。
今日の帰り、買って帰ろうかな♪

最近日本はすごく寒くなってきました。アメリカも同じくらい寒いのかなぁ？
今日は『ごはん』について書こうと思います。アメリカではいろんな国の料理を食べたりしますか？日本では日本料理はもちろん、中国料理、イタリア料理、もちろんアメリカの料理をよく食べます。いろんな国の料理が日本に入ってきていて、日本の料理よりも他の国の料理をたくさん食べるくらいです。
日本料理はとてもヘルシーで健康にもとても良いと思います。日本料理の中で私が１番好きなのはお寿司です。ネタはサーモンが１番好きです。サーモンのなんともいえない味が大好きです。昨日もお寿司を食べました。
みんなは日本の料理を食べたことありますか？もし食べたことがあるならどんな料理を食べましたか？

冬の休み

今度の休み、よていある？　私はたくさんよていがあります！まず、私のいもうとはコンサートがあります。いもうとは歌をうたえます！　それから、私のかれとよています。ひろごはんを食べに行きます。私のアルバイトをします。十二月十七日はウィスドムは(wisdom teeth)をだしでいます！　とてもいたいです！　

さいごクリスマス、私はあねにI-PODをもらいました。今年、私はあねにマサジサテフーケト(massage certificate)をあげました。

日本のファッション♪

みんな元気ですか？？
私はちょっと体調を崩していてあまり元気がありません。
今日は日本のファッションについて書こうと思います。日本はきっと他の国に比べると服にとてもお金をかける国じゃないかなぁって思います。女の子はみんなファッション雑誌を買って見てかわいい服を買ったりします。日本は四季がはっきりしていて春・夏・秋・冬それそれの季節でファッションを楽しみます。
私は日本の名古屋というところに住んでいます。名古屋には日本の中でも独特の服装のスタイルがあります。『名古屋嬢』と呼ばれることもあります。フリフリのついたかわいい服装に髪の毛はくるくるに巻いて化粧もバッチリにした女の子のことです。私の学校は女の子ばっかりで名古屋嬢みたいな子がたくさんいます。みんなおしゃれでかわいい子ばかりです。

食べ物について

皆さん！！こんにちは。今日の話題は食べ物のついてです。世界にはたくさんの食べ物がありますが、その中で私が一番好きな食べ物は”そうめん”です。皆さんはそうめんを知っていますか？おそらくそうめんは日本だけの食べ物だと思います。そうめんは細い麺をゆでて、そしてそれをつゆの中に入れてたべます。ねぎや焼き卵と一緒に食べるともっとおいしく食べることができます。日本ではそうめんを夏によく食べます。しかし私は夏だけではなく春も秋も冬も食べたいと思っています。そうめんは健康にもよくスッキリします。皆さんもぜひ食べてみてください。まだまだ私の好きな食べ物はたくさんあります。例えば、やまかけそばです。これはそばの上に山芋という芋をすって一緒に食べます。私は麺類が大好きでスパゲッティーやうどんも大好きです。私は生きている間においしいものをいっぱい食べたいです。あなたの好きな食べ物はなんですか？

Winter time!

Hello everyone. How are you all doing? Winter is starting to set in here at MSU. Today it was very cold and windy. Walking to class has become a very frigid experience! I was wondering what winter is like at your university. Do you have any celebrations or traditions for this time of year? In December, there are several religious holidays, as well as New Years. For instance, my family celebrates Christmas at the end of December. I'll try to get you a picture of our Christmas tree. All in all, it is a very fun time of the year.
I see some of you wrote about fashion. What do you think of American fashion?
These past few weeks we have been learning keigo. It a very complex system of communication. I liked learning about it, though. I don't think anything worth learning would be easy ^_^
We are just entering our finals week. I always look forward to these few weeks. They are a bit stressful, but I like knowing I can go home soon. Plus, at MSU there is a funny little tradition the students do on campus during exam week. It's called the Midnight Scream. Its when all the students in the dorms open their windows at Midnight, and scream. Sometimes, they shout very funny things. It sounds odd, but its fun when you have a room full of people yelling ridiculous things :)

Final Week.

As the last month of the year approaches, it means the final week of school is approaching as well. It is always important to finish strong as you may have started strong. I assume Japanese university will be as busy as we will be in few days. Everyone in the campus will have his/her busiest time in this semester and the library will be so crowded. How is the final week like in Japanese university? Does it get really busy and crazy? or does it remain calm?

Recently, I had to finish long essay of my reading and writing class, so I am little bit tired. However, it's OK now;)
Today, I will write about "fashion" bevause I learned it in my class. I learned Jpanese fashion is very different from Japanese one. I was very shocked at that my teacher said, "Sometime Japanese girls' fahion are look like a prostitute." Is it really?! What kind of fashion looks like a prostitute? I want to know about it very much.
Anyway, I like to go shopping to buy new clothes or fashion items. I think almost Japanese girls who are same age as me have big interesting about what they wear. This winter, color tights, short boots and knit cap are trendy fahion item in Japan. I think the knit cap is cute, so bought white knit cap this winter. I like it. ;)

Hallo!Today,I talk about fashion.Now color tights is very popular for young Japanese people.
For example,they put on red tights,brown tights and purple tights.I have never put on it yet.But,I want to try it.Do you try to putting on it?I like casual style,because it's very comfortable so, I can move anywhere smoothly.I always put on jeans when I go to school.But, my friends always put on very short skirt.I surprised at looking it,because I don't put on it too much.I think skirt is very feminine.I like boy style fashion.What fashion do you like the best?Nagoya in Japan people is very florid fashion.When I look them in Nagoya,I felt culture shock.I live in Mie.Mie isn't florid.Everyone is very casual.Japanese people has many fashion style so,If you come to Japan,you should look japanese people's fashion.I think you may discover interesting result.

My ideal date plan

Today,I'm　talking about my ideal date plan. If I have a boy friend, I want to go anywhere.For example, I want to go to the sea and hot spring.I like swimming in the sea so I want to swim with him.My family's hobby is soaking in a hot spring so,I want to enjoy it with my family and him.And,I have some another date plan.I want to go zoo.I like animal very much.I like a boy who likes animal.I have been to zoo with my boy friend at one time.I enjoyed it,so next time I want to go zoo.Japanese people couple always there.Zoo is very famous as date spot.Does everyone go to zoo?I advise everyone to go to zoo.I think couple must shorten their distance.Next I want to eat delicious foods with him.For example I want to eat sukiyaki and broiled meat in his house.I like being his house,so I want to eat them slowly.

サンクスギビングの休みです

みなさん、こんにちは！だいじょうぶですか？どんなことをしましたか？ 私の日本語の先生がすぎやま学生がアメリカのデートの文化を教えってと言っていました。何をおしえました？おもしろかったと思いますか？日本でどんなデートの文化がありますか？とにかく、先週がサンクスギビングです。とても楽しい休みです。サンクスギビングについて、いつもたくさんおいしい料理を食べます。たとえば、しちめんちょうやスタフィングやポテトを食べます。毎年父が料理をします。今年私が手伝いました。とてもたのしかったれすよ。

デートについて♪

みなさん！こんにちは☆
今日は前回の授業で取り上げられたテーマ、「初めてのデート」について書きたいと思います。
日本とアメリカ、その他の国では思っていたよりたくさんの違いがあることを知って私は驚きました！
日本では「映画を観に行く」というパターンが多いとアンケートでありましたが、みなさんの理想の初デートはどんなデートですか？＾＾

私が今もしデートに行くならものすごくたくさんのイルミネーションで飾られていてすごくきれいだと聞いたことがあるので、「なばなの里」というところに行ってみたいです♪何万球の電球で飾られたトンネルがあるそうで、私もそこを歩いてみたいなぁと思います。
イルミネーションといえば、私が通学で利用している名古屋駅の近くのデパートにはクリスマスのための飾りつけがされてて今すごくきれいです。今年はお城をモチーフにした可愛いイルミネーションが夜になるとキラキラ輝いています♪前を通りかかると、いつもたくさんのカップルがいていい感じです（笑）

Turkey Day!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving! ^_^

Today is a holiday in the U.S. called Thanksgiving. The idea of it is to celebrate when the pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock and to give thanks for everything we have. Also, we eat a lot of food- turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, rolls, pie, cranberry sauce. I hear that in Japan people don't eat turkey, so here is a picture of cooked turkey:

Turkey is similar to chicken because they are both poultry, but turkey is a little more dry and it makes you sleepy after you eat it. After dinner, a lot of people like to take naps or watch football. In Michigan, a lot of families watch the Lions play (the ones in blue).

Thanksgiving is a nice holiday because it gives families a chance to come from all over and spend time together. Also, I think that any holiday with so much food is wonderful ^_^

Drinking!!

Hi everyone!!

Today I'll tell you about drinking. I like drinking. It is very fun! Sometimes I drinking with my friends. When I drank, I became cheerful. Last time I drank with my friends in karaoke, we worm up so we were very enjoyed. We sang songs at loud and dancing. It was very exiting! I took photos at that time. I saw it now, it is very funny.

I like drinking but I've never drunk strong drink like a tequila so I don't know how strong, taste, smell it. I want to try it.

I learned about Michigan's law about drinking a little.In Michigan, became 21year-old, people can drinking. Is it true? However in part of Canada that next to Michigan can drinking at age of 19, so Michigan’s students go to there and drinking. I forgot that detail so if it was wrong, I'm sorry.Then I have a question. In America, university students often hold a party? My image is American students hold many parties with wearing evening dresses. Maybe it is my stereotype...sorry.

今日、私はコンピュターを話します。コンピュターで色々なことをできます。ゲームをしたり、友達に話したり、作文を書き足り、できます。わたしのせんもんはコンピュターサイエンスですから、毎日使いりあす。コンピュターのプログラムを作りますよ。難しいですよ。でも、もっと楽しいですから、私はとても好きです。皆さんはコンピュターが好きですか。コンピュターで何をしますか。

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a long time but I've been really busy! My pom squad won the competition so I'm really excited!! Now, we are working on a new routine for states!
Anways, everyone seems to be discussing drinking this month so I will put in my input. I do drink on the weekends with my roommates. We drink when we tailgate the most. However, we don't drink when we all have tests the next week because we use the weekend time to study together. We are all having a secret santa dinner on Friday night. Secret santa is where you pick a name out of the hat and you buy a present for the person you get. It's cheaper than buying presents for all 7 girls. Alright, I'm gunna head to bed because it's already 2:00 a.m. in the morning and I have class at 9!! ahhh!! byee!

日本のCM

今日、youtubeで、日本のCMを見ました。すごくおもしろかった。
このCMはどても頭がいい人がつくった思おう。この男の人がこの町へ行こう。でも、この町の女の人はぜんぶどてもきれいだ。それから、この男の人は、”この町はよかったね。”と言おう。それで、授業で入って、学生は全部きれいだ。この男の人はこのきれいな女の人のそばで座る。
でも、この女の人が友達に電話をして、声が男みたいだ。じつわ、この授業のみんな女学生の声が男みたいだ。それから、この男の人は声がおんなのひとみたい女の人をあって、デートをしよう。
それで、この女の人がこの男の人に、”私のどこがよかったの？”と聞こう。
この男の人は”声かな、声。”と言おう。
この女の人は”私は、サッカーとか見に行かないから”といおう。　
じつわ、このCMはAJINOMOTO STADIUMのCMで、その声が男みたい女の人はぜんぶAJINOMOTO STADIUMで応援しようから、声が男みたいなりました。すごくおもしろかった。

身体言語

こんにちは！！
題名を見て「何のことだろう？」と思ったでしょう。身体言語は「Body language」を英和辞典で日本語に訳した言葉です。私は違う国の人と会話するときはもちろん、日本人同士で会話するときにもよくボディーランゲージを使います。言葉だけで会話するよりも感情が伝わったり、言葉で相手に伝えたいのに伝えきれないときにボディーランゲージを使うと伝えたいことが伝わったりします。とても便利だと思います。
授業でボディーランゲージのことを学んで、知らないうちに身に着けていた日本人独特のボディーランゲージがあることがわかりました。一番驚いたのは、写真を撮るときにピースをするのが日本人だけだということを知ったときでした。言われるまで気づかなかったけど確かに日本人以外は写真を撮るときにピースしないなぁって思いました。日本では写真を撮るときに小さい子からお年寄りまでみんなピースが一般的ですが、アメリカでは一般的なポーズとかありますか？写真を載せようと思ったんですが、今はないので、また次回に載せたいと思います。では♪

飲み物!!

こんにちは！今日は私の好きな飲み物について話します。
私は、紅茶とジンジャエールが大好きです。この２つの飲み物を飲んだらとても気持ちいです。
まず、紅茶について話します。私はストレートティーがすきです。砂糖やミルクを入れないほうが紅茶本来の味を楽しむことができます。アイスティーでもホットティーでもストレートで飲みます。特に好きな紅茶の種類は、アールグレイです。これはとても良い香りがして、飲むととても気持ちが落ち着きます。私はよく、ケーキやお菓子といった甘いものと紅茶一緒に飲みます。リラックスしたいときに飲むと最高に気分がよくなります。皆さんはよく紅茶を飲みますか？
次にジンジャエールについてです。この飲み物は飲むととてもさわやかな気分になりテンションが上がります。私はよく、皆と食事をするときに飲みます。シュワっとする感じがたまらなく大好きです。私の祖母もジンジャエールが大好きです。でも飲みすぎると胃が痛くなるから注意して飲まなければいけません。でも私はいつも飲みすぎてしまいます！！紅茶とジンジャエールが飲めれば幸せです。でも私には悩み事があります。それはお酒が飲めないとゆうくとです。少し飲んだだけですぐ気持ち悪くなります。だからもっとお酒に強くなりたいと思っています。どうしたらいいでしょう？教えてください。また、皆さんの好きな飲み物は何ですか？

Today, I will talk about drinking. Do you like drinking?
Last friday, I drank with my friends of university at bar. The atmosphere of the bar was retro, so it was exciring. I enjoyed it very much!
Now, I will ask a riddle about my favoeite alcoholic drink.
The drink that is my favorite is good hot and cold. I sometimes drink it before I go to bed at night. It is good for my health. In addition, it is good for relaxing. My grandmother made it by herself when she alived. It was really tasty and sweet.
Can you guess what it is? ;)
Anyway, my father really likes to drink beer. He drinks it ever night! However, I cannot drink beer because I think it is too bitter for me. I want to become drink it.

Body Language

Hello!
How are you? Recently, Japan becomes little bit cold. I feel winter is coming soon.
Anyway, I will talk about a body language because I learned about it in my class. There are a lot of body languages both of Japan and the U.S. Some one has almost same meaning, but other one has big different meaning. I am really interested about the differences of body languages. For example, when a person play his hair, it means "vanity" in the western countries. However, I have not think such a meaning before as a Japanese. In addition, I did not know a person sits and hugging with his arm by himself means "shyness". I sometimes do this gesture, but I have never wanted to show I am shy.
I want to know more interesting body languages!
Please tell me about body language that you use frequently.

Hi!!everyone.Today I'm going to talk about gesture.I surprised at hearing about gesture because,it has different mean own countries.For example, crossing index and middle fingers mean good luck in America but, Japanese people doesn't use it.We have no gesture.I think it's very mysterious.Nodding head up and down mean Yes in America.This is same gesture in Japan.I always use this but, Bulgaria has opposite means.In a word,Nodding head up and down mean No!!I surprised that Bulgaria use how to.Japanease people doesn't use over reaction but,Amerikan people use over reaction.When they speak,they always move hands.It's very interesting for me.I want to use over reaction.I want to know that everyone is how to use gesture. What a kind of gesture do you use?Tell me about it.

ハッピーハロウィン♪

こんにちは！！
今日はハロウィンについて書こうと思います。
まずは日本のハロウィンについて。日本ではハロウィンという言葉と１０月３１日がハロウィンという日であることはみんな知っています。でもアメリカや他の国々のように盛大にお祝いするということは少ないです。私は、テーマパークが大好きなのですが、日本にある東京ディズニーランドや、ユニバーサルスタジオジャパンなどでは毎年ハロウィンの時期になると飾りがハロウィン仕様になってそれぞれのキャラクターのミッキーやミニー、スヌーピーやチャーリーブラウンがハロウィンの格好(かぼちゃや魔女)になったりして、とても盛り上がります。私はこの雰囲気が大好きです。
また、この前の月曜日のこの授業ではハロウィンについて楽しい授業を受けました。ハロウィンにまつわる単語を使ったビンゴ、ミイラを早く作るゲームなど、とても楽しかったです。
アメリカのハロウィンについてもっと知りたいです！！どんな格好をしたりどんなことをしてお祝いしたり楽しんだりしているのか知りたいです。もし良かったら写真も見たいです♪

野球

こんにちは!
みなさんは野球に興味はありますか？
ついこの前、私の地方の野球チーム、「中日ドラゴンｽﾞ」が５３年ぶりに優勝して、名古屋はすごく盛り上がっています。
名古屋のデパートの多くは優勝セールを行っていて、今週末はすごい人でした。
私は週末は１日中バイトだったのですが、お昼も夜もお店の外まで行列になるくらいすごく混んでいて大変でした。せっかくセールをしていたのだから、私も買い物とかに行きたかったなぁと思います。
土日が終わって明日からまた学校が始まります。今週も１週間、がんばるぞ♪

１０月２７日、ハロウィンパーティーに行きました。初めてのパーティーだったから緊張したけれどとても楽しくて盛り上がりました。私の友達はみんな仮装していました。でも私は仮装グッズを持っていなかったから、ミッキーの手袋だけつけました。おいしい料理を食べたり、ゲームをしたりして楽しい時間を過ごしました。料理は全部、かぼちゃの料理でびっくりしました。私はあまりかぼちゃが好きではないけれど今回はおいしく食べられました。ゲームはクイズをしたりビンゴをしました。そしてプレゼントでいっぱいおかしをもらいました。ラッキーです！！！みんなもハロウィンを楽しみましたか？私は来年もハロウィンパーティーに参加したいです。

２００２ワールドカップ

私が今まで一ばんうれしかったプレゼントは韓国が２００２ワールドカップで４とうないに入ったことです。

ごのプレゼントは物ではないけど 、ぼくはいつも韓国がワールドカップで勝てばいいと思っていました。


２００２年６月、 韓国と日本でワールドカップが開かれました。

ぼくはサッカ-が大好きでスタジアムに行ってしあいを見ました。
韓国は2002年のワールドカップ以前まではぜんぜん勝ったことがありませんでした。それから、韓国が勝ったら、パーティをしようと思いしました。
韓国は2対0で かちましたから、友だちとパーティをしました。私は歌を歌いながらビ-ルを飲みました。でも、しあいの明日、私はアメリカに留学しに来ました。

たくさんの韓国のせん手がワールドカップの後、外国に行ったそうです

Hello everyone!
How have you all been? I haven't been as diligent as I would have liked in regards to updating this blog; my apologies! I ought to do much better this month, as we my midterms and papers are finished (finally!).
I'll try to answer your questions first. My favorite actor would probably be Johnny Depp, and my favorite actress would have to be Judi Dench. They are both very versitile, and truly talented.
Miyuki, I am impressed by your culinary talents! I am okay at cooking, but I'm always nervous I might mess up the recipe, so I check myself constantly. I mainly like baking for my friends. Lots of the recipes I have are from my grandmother, so they remind me of her :). I can make takoyaki, though.
What classes are you all taking? How is your term going thus far?
Today is Halloween for us. It's a holiday where kids dress up in costume and go door to door to collect candy, or "trick or treating". Typically, families also carve faces in pumpkins and put candles inside to make what's called a jack o' lantern. My dad is pretty good at carving; he makes all sorts of designs. Do you have any holidays or traditions in October?
At MSU, students typically attend costume parties around Halloween. I went to one at my friends apartment. I hope you enjoy a few of the pictures from it.
Nothing else is really happening here right now, excepting the Michigan State versus U of M football game this Saturday. They are our biggest rival, so it should be interesting. Football and other sports are pretty big at MSU; is it the same with your school? We have a whole student section (in the picture, you can only see about 1/4 of it; there is an upper deck, and many many more students behind me) devoted to cheering at football games. The games are a lot of fun! People also tailgate before and after football games. Sometimes this means drinking, and other times it means getting together with family and friends to cook and eat. The other picture is of my mom's sorority when they came to tailgate. My mom also went to MSU. My parents are coming up for another tailgate at some point in November, so I should be able to get some more pictures up soon.

How are you? I feel lonely because recently Japanese students only writing this blog. I want to read American students blog.
Today I'll write about my hobby. I wrote about my hobby before. My hobby is listen to music, but recently I like reading book. I like study. Books tell me new information about someting. It is very fun for me. I'm reading a book written about economy. this book tells me about how to tide of economy, for example "yen's depreciation and yen's appreciation", "how to change the price of land" and so on. These are very interesting for me. I studied economy only when I was junior high and high school moreover I studied little. Books are very useful because I can study handly. I can study everywhere I want so I read on trains everyday. Then books give me a hand when I do my homework. That's why I like reading books.

Hallo!!I'm Miyuki.Today,it is very hot.I don't like hot season,because I like winter.Winter is good to do anything.For example I like to ski and eat Sukiyaki.Sukiyaki is very famous food in Japan.There are meat,tofu and vegetable in Sukiyaki.Let's eat Sukiyaki everyone!!!I make it by hand.It's very easy.I can make French toast too.I make it every Sunday morning.It's very delicious!!Can you make anything?I want to make many food,but I don't know how to make.Please tell me how to make.
I like to use cell phone.It is very handy and interesting.I play game and mail with it in train. It takes two hours to go from Tsu to my university so,I 'm very free. I kill time with it while I was riding train.But cell phone has bad point,because there are dangerous site on it.We mustn't enter this site.

今回は自分の名前について書きたいと思います。
私の名前は漢字で晃代(あきよ)と書きます。最初に漢字の意味を１つづつ書こうと思います。
漢字辞典で調べたら、晃(あき)は「光輝く、燦々としている」という意味で、代(よ)は「変わる、変化する」という意味です。合わせた意味を自分なりに解釈すると、「輝きながら変化する」つまり、「輝きながら常に新しいものを求め続けていく」という意味になります。
そして、名前の由来は特別な理由はないと両親から聞きました。姓名判断の方に良い名前を選んでもらったそうです。
私は自分の名前をとても気に入っています。中学や高校の友達は私のことを「あっきー」と呼んでくれます。私のニックネームです。

私の父はサザンオールスターズのファンで、私の名前はそのバンドの曲名からつけられたそうです。
私の名前は漢字で書くと、詩（し）央（お）理（り）と書きます。
日本では漢字にもそれぞれ意味があって、私の名前には、詩（poem、情緒豊かな子になるように)、央（fair way、道に外れないように）、理（intelligent、物事を学ぶ子になるように）という意味が込められています。

私の名前

こんにちは！！みゆきです。
今日は私の名前の由来を紹介したいと思います。
漢字でかくと「美有紀」です。まず、「美」の意味は美しい(beautiful)です。「有」の意味は存在する(exist)です。そして、「紀」の意味は永遠(forever)です。つまり、「永遠に美しくあるように」という思いがこめられてます。
私はこの名前が大好きです。あなたは自分の名前が好きですか？皆さんの名前の由来を教えてください。
余談ですが、私の家族の名前を紹介します。父が秀敏（ひでとし）、母が真澄（ますみ）です。愛犬の名前はハッピー(Happy)です。意味は「いつでも楽しくいられるように」ということです。

Hi!! I'm Akiyo Kato. Please call me Akiyo.

I'm third year student of Sugiyama university. Of course I'm studying English. Last month, I went to Australia for three weeks to study English. This is my first time to went to another country. I spent great time in there. I made good friends! They made me irreplaceable time. I enjoyed there very much. However I found my English skill isn't enough to speak so I have to study harder. I want to go more foreign country!
My hobby is listen to music. I like j-pop music especially Yuna Ito. She has clear beautiful voice. Listening to her music relaxes me. I like driving too. When I have free time, I always driving a car. A few weeks ago, I drove with my friends to the park to shot off firework. We enjoyed that. That was last time to shot off fireworks this year because Japan will become fall. I'm looking forward to doing that again.

Today I ate broiled meat in Misakiya.This restaurant is very delicious.I sometime go to there with my family.I like tongue very much,because it is delicious and chewy.My father is good eater so he ate a lot of meat today.I surprised !!I love delicious food too.I like going good and delicious restaurant with my friends.My friend likes delicious food too,so we always go to restaurant.For example we ate Italian food in Pastel.This restaurant 's Pizza and Spaghetti are very very delicious.I want to go Japanese restaurant with my friends next time.I'm looking forward to going there.I think Japanese food is the best food in the world.Everyone let's eat Japanese food!But It is difficult for foreigner to eat natto.It has habit,so I think they don't like eating natto.But natto is good for our health therefor we should eat natto.

Hi! My name is Shiori.

I'm second year student at Sugiyama university, and I study English and the teaching of Japanese.
I taught Japanese to Colombian, Brazilian and Philippines children who lived in Japan during my summer vacation because I joined in volunteer work in my city. It was very exciting!

I am a junior in MSU and this is my second year taking Japanese. I'm from Seoul, Korea.
I first decided to take Japanese since I thought it would be good to know Japanese since Japan and Korea are really close to each other and maybe someday it will be useful! Since, my major is business, in the future, I may have some meeting with my fellow Japanese trader then at that time I may talk him/her in Japanse!

I like to play soccer, basketball and in the winter I love to snowboard. Someday, I want to snowboard on the Mt.Huji if possible. ^^

I started taking japanese in 2nd grade, when I was 7. I continued with it because I found it to be one the most intricate languages to learn and if I eventually get a hold on it, that will be a huge accomplishment in my life. My older sister majored in japanese at State and my younger sister, she's 9, just started taking her first classes.
