Fashion!

Hi!
What's up? ;)
Recently, I had to finish long essay of my reading and writing class, so I am little bit tired. However, it's OK now;)
Today, I will write about "fashion" bevause I learned it in my class. I learned Jpanese fashion is very different from Japanese one. I was very shocked at that my teacher said, "Sometime Japanese girls' fahion are look like a prostitute." Is it really?! What kind of fashion looks like a prostitute? I want to know about it very much.
Anyway, I like to go shopping to buy new clothes or fashion items. I think almost Japanese girls who are same age as me have big interesting about what they wear. This winter, color tights, short boots and knit cap are trendy fahion item in Japan. I think the knit cap is cute, so bought white knit cap this winter. I like it. ;)
What's your favorite fashion? I'm very interetsed in your fahion! Please tell me.

Hello Shiori!

It sounds like your class is very difficult. Good luck!
I love to shop, too. A slang word in American for a person that shops a lot (and maybe too much) is "shopaholic". I am a shopaholic when it comes to accessories, like hats and jewelry. My favorite fashion is to wear jeans, heels, and a form fitting jacket with a tank top. It's a good outfit, because it is neither too dressy or too casual.
The knit cap sounds cute. I hope it keeps you warm as well as fashionable this winter :)
